AUROPOL 341 Sulphonated Butyl Oleate

Product Description

Auropol 341™ is an anionic surfactant derived from natural oils that is readily biodegradable and has low toxicity characteristics.

It is an anionic surfactant with excellent solvency powers. It is compatible with a wide range of materials and is stable over a wide pH range.

Sulphonated Butyl Oleate has been shown to provide emulsification to a variety of oils and is well placed in degreasing formulations where its oil solubilising and emulsification properties are combined.

Product Usage

  • Metal Working : Emulsifying agent, anti-corrosion, lubricant, degreaser base.
  • Textile : Multi-purpose dying assistant ; scouring, soaping off, wool oils.
  • Hygiene : Detergent and cleaners, emulsifying agent.
  • General : Levelling and wetting agent, coupling agent for solvents
  • Used in electroplating

    AUROPOL 341 is an oily amber coloured liquid which readily disperses in water. A sweet odour characteristic of butyl esters can be detected.

    STORAGE
