AUROPOL 341 Sulphonated Butyl Oleate
Product Description
Auropol 341 is an anionic surfactant derived from natural oils that is readily biodegradable and has low toxicity characteristics.
It is an anionic surfactant with excellent solvency powers. It is
compatible with a wide range of materials and is stable over a wide pH range.
Sulphonated Butyl Oleate has been shown to provide emulsification to a variety of
oils and is well placed in degreasing formulations where its oil solubilising and
emulsification properties are combined.
Product Usage
Metal Working : Emulsifying agent, anti-corrosion, lubricant, degreaser base.
Textile : Multi-purpose dying assistant ; scouring, soaping off, wool
oils.
Hygiene : Detergent and cleaners, emulsifying agent.
General : Levelling and wetting agent, coupling agent for solvents

coloured liquid which readily disperses
in water. A sweet odour characteristic
of butyl esters can be detected.

Storage and Safety
STORAGE
When stored indoors at temperatures below 40ºC
and in closed original containers, this product can

classified as a dangerous good. According to
