Product Description
Auropol 438 is an anionic surfactant derived from natural oils that is readily biodegradable and has low toxicity characteristics.

CHEMICAL COMPOSITION: Oleyl Sulphate, Sodium Salt
CHARACTERISTICS: AUROPOL 438 is an oily amber
coloured liquid which readily disperses in water. It has a fatty odour.
Product Performance
AUROPOL 438TM is a water based anionic surfactant with excellent wetting
properties. It is compatible with a wide range of inorganics and is stable over a
wide pH range.
Product Usage
CLEANING: Component of general purpose or heavy duty applications such as degreasing and liquid cleaning formulations, steam cleaning, bath
oils and shampoos, non lathering formulas and it can solubilise
lanolin to form opalescent solutions in water.
TEXTILE: Dying - latex impregnation, dipping, yarn lube and levelling agent.
WETTING AGENT:
Protective agent when treating animal fibers and human hair
Industrial: Used as a low foaming emulsifier with lubricity and corrosion
inhibition properties

AUROPOL 438TM is of low toxicity. It is readily
biodegradable and not classified as a dangerous
good. According to experience this product is
considered to be harmless to health if used in the
